What's the problem? Describe what went wrong.
At the end of Episode One (Culture Shock), the final boss fight will crash before you can actually get the player to do anything. You'll see the cutscene and then after that, if you interact with anything or take a step, the game goes 0 FPS and stops rendering entirely while the VPS will keep running at 60 FPS, 100% speed. Music and sound effects continue and input is completely ignored.
What steps will reproduce the problem?
Play until you reach Culture's Clubhouse with the anti-hypnosis helmet, then simply pass through the gate. After the cutscene, you will crash. Note that LLE audio must be enabled to get past the intro sequence of any episode.
Is the issue present in the latest development version? For future reference, please also write down the version number of the latest development version.
The latest version (5.0-17217) outright refuses to run due to Windows 7 support being discontinued, so I'm forced to use 5.0-16391.
Is the issue present in the latest stable version?
Couldn't get far enough into the save/load screen to test on 5.0 since it was constantly flashing between two halves of the screen (tested on Software, OpenGL, and DirectX 11).
What are your PC specifications? (CPU, GPU, Operating System, more)
AMD Athlon 200GE, 8GB RAM, Nvidia GT 1030 (GDDR5), Windows 7 Ultimate
Is there anything else that can help developers narrow down the issue? (e.g. logs, screenshots,
configuration files, savefiles, savestates)
See attachments. Note that the save attached has the save file at the crashing area on the bottom left, so load from that one, not auto-save.
