d1a8325e5d761bcf69d0f5eca0b9b70e isn't a valid hash according to Redump. What problems were listed by Dolphin when you ran Verify?

Ah yes you are right, I did not see these errors at first.

I attached an image of what it looks like. Does that mean I have a bad disc?

Yes, something is wrong with your dump, and it's the exact kind of problem that might cause just a certain level to break.

I have acquired a new dump that was verified to be functioning by dolphin. Image attached. I played to the 16th hole at Bethpage Black again, unfortunately the problem still persists.

This time the MD5 hash is: 605588ca64f320581c8c7872bf494cb9

Just to make sure: You haven't loaded any savestates from when you played with the broken dump? (Loading an in-game save isn't a problem.)

No I don't use save states. But it did load my older save game info (my player profile and career progress).

Could you upload that save game, so that we can get to the relevant hole quicker?

Yes here is a link to Google Drive: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/12wbvmjwkj4rboaLzFRsjkgaMuWAoG17n?usp=sharing

I'm kind of new to this so let me know if there's anything I can do to help

Since making this post I have found another course which hangs on the loading screen. This one is the Royal Melbourne Course on the Nationwide Tour. After hole 9 it hangs on the loading screen and prevents you from proceeding. This effectively renders Royal Melbourne and the previous Bethpage Black courses unplayable. Which is a shame since they are beautiful courses (and easier to score on than some others!).

If I can do anything to help collect data on the issue please let me know.

I attached a video which shows this issue.

Can you please upload your settings files, I've been playing this game for a few days now and haven't encountered any hangs. I haven't exactly been on the courses you reported, but I'm on NTSC and you're on PAL, so I can't use your savefile.

To find the hang, you can try the problematic course by pressing "Play" on the main menu and selecting the Back Nine for the Royal Melbourne Course. That always reliably hangs for me.
I'm not 100% sure what you mean by the settings files, where are they located?

Completed the first 5 events no problem, no hangs.

I was able to reproduce a hang - but only with fast disc speed enabled. You wouldn't be using that feature, would you?

Yes! I do have Speed Up Disc Transfer Rate Checked. That's the option you're talking about? I will try the game without it.

Sounds like "Speed Up Disc Transfer Rate" (i.e. Emulate Disc Speed) was the culprit. Will re-open this issue upon request.
