What's the problem? Describe what went wrong.

Running a game that produces a GFX FIFO panic alert (or potentially other panic alets) upon starting will have two options presented, "OK" and "Ignore for this session". When running dual core and selecting "Ignore for this session" will cause Dolphin to freeze.

What steps will reproduce the problem?

I was using SSX Tricky as an example.
Use Default Settings (dual core)
Start game.
Panic alert is presented.
Click "Ignore for this session".
Observe Dolphin freezing.
