If you go to Options> Hotkey Settings> Graphics there is some hotkeys that you can set, just not to enable/disable the Widescreen hack. I think this would be a nice option to have for games that have minor issues with it like flickering or doubling effect.

It might be more sensible to just implement proper scripting support instead of hotkeys for every weird setting.
