Description

What's the problem? Describe what went wrong.

Whenever my PS5 DualSense controller is plugged in via the SDL controller backend, wireless or wired, and the motor is assigned to rumble, the rumble is inconsistent in its strength. More often than not the rumble is very weak and/or straight up fails to work. Rumble works properly with my Switch Pro Controller, and I'm unsure if it's the DualSense motor being an issue because it works fine in other games outside of Dolphin.

What steps will reproduce the problem?

  1. Plug in a PS5 Controller, wireless or wired
  2. Assign the controller's motor to the rumble via SDL
  3. Test it in a game with ample rumble support
