What's the problem? Describe what went wrong.

[While this is a issue that I've occasionally seen in other games on the emulator, it's never happened at a consistent rate where I'd say the game is unplayable. However, with the Gamecube version of Twilight Princess, I've been experiencing the emulator crashing WAY more than usual. To give an example, right now I'm in the snow peaks area of the game and I can barely explore the area without Dolphin freezing and then my computer gets a black screen and I have to shutdown my computer entirely in order to be rid of this bug. And I've experienced this bug in Snow Peaks 3 times today and I restarted each time but that still didn't fix anything!]

What steps will reproduce the problem?

[1. I boot up Dolphin.

  1. I boot up the game
  2. I head for the Snow Peaks area in the game.
  3. After being in the area for like 2 minutes, the game freezes and eventually my computer gives a black screen and I can't fix it other than shutting down the computer entirely.]

Is the issue present in the latest development version? For future reference, please also write down the version number of the latest development version.

[5.0-18498]

Is the issue present in the latest stable version?

[Yes, 5.0-18498]

If the issue isn't present in the latest stable version, which is the first broken version? (You can find the first broken version by bisecting. Windows users can use the tool https://forums.dolphin-emu.org/Thread-green-notice-development-thread-unofficial-dolphin-bisection-tool-for-finding-broken-builds and anyone who is building Dolphin on their own can use git bisect.)

[First broken version number here (if applicable)]

If your issue is a graphical issue, please attach screenshots and record a three frame fifolog of the issue if possible. Screenshots showing what it is supposed to look like from either console or older builds of Dolphin will help too. For more information on how to use the fifoplayer, please check here: https://wiki.dolphin-emu.org/index.php?title=FifoPlayer

[Attach any fifologs if possible, write a description of fifologs and screenshots here to assist people unfamiliar with the game.]

What are your PC specifications? (CPU, GPU, Operating System, more)

[Processor: 11th Gen Intel(R) Core (TM) i5-1135G7 @2.40GHz 2.42 GHz
Installed RAM 8.00 GB
Device ID: 4BA1Ac28-85DC-4FD6-82C6-DBD02AB87843
Product ID: 00342-20814-63895-AAOEM
System type: 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor
Operating system: Windows 11 Home
]

Is there anything else that can help developers narrow down the issue? (e.g. logs, screenshots,
configuration files, savefiles, savestates)

[If I did have to give an idea on what I think could fix this issue, then maybe releasing a new patch for Twilight Princess like the Hyrule Field speed hack could fix this freezing issue I'm having with the game.]

4c3b40bb848ed535cdb5c2647107ff5f is not the correct MD5 hash for this game.
Please re-dump the game and file a new issue report if you experience the problem with a good dump of the game.
