Is the issue present in the latest development version? For future reference, please also write down the version number of the latest development version.

[5.0-19980]

Is the issue present in the latest stable version?

[No]

If the issue isn't present in the latest stable version, which is the first broken version? (You can find the first broken version by bisecting. Windows users can use the tool https://forums.dolphin-emu.org/Thread-green-notice-development-thread-unofficial-dolphin-bisection-tool-for-finding-broken-builds and anyone who is building Dolphin on their own can use git bisect.)

If your issue is a graphical issue, please attach screenshots and record a three frame fifolog of the issue if possible. Screenshots showing what it is supposed to look like from either console or older builds of Dolphin will help too. For more information on how to use the fifoplayer, please check here: https://wiki.dolphin-emu.org/index.php?title=FifoPlayer

[Attach any fifologs if possible, write a description of fifologs and screenshots here to assist people unfamiliar with the game.]

Does this happen when Graphics -> Advanced -> Manual Texture Sampling is enabled?

Manual Texture Sampling does not fix this.
Native IR experiences the issue the most. The problem becomes hidden in higher IRs.
I've attach a fifo log.

Using freelook it seems like the problem is still present at higher resolutions, but does seem to be a bit more hidden.

The relevant part of yoshi's tummy is the center, object 67 in the attached fifolog, which has a unique texture (different from the rest of yoshi's body and from the outside of yoshi's tummy, which also both have their own textures). That texture has a pattern to it, and that pattern is used on the back, but would also apply to the front, except the UV coordinates in the model leave it inside of the white region. I guess it's right at the border.

I'll test on the hardware fifoplayer to see what it looks like on real hardware when I have time. My guess is that this happens on real hardware though.

I tested this with the hardware fifoplayer and it shows up there. I've included some screenshots (interestingly, it does seem to get more subtle at higher zooms, just like in Dolphin, probably from different mipmap levels). Note that the hardware fifoplayer takes high-resolution screenshots by zooming in in a somewhat jank way, and then taking several individual screenshots, which don't stitch together perfectly.

This does also affect the Wii release. I've attached a custom texture folder which fixes the issue there (it should work on the GC release too if you extract it into Load\Textures\GOMP01*.png).
