What's the problem? Describe what went wrong.

I added Animal Crossing (Gamecube version), and added the HD Texture Pack. I set AA to 4xMSAA. I added the Widescreen Hack listed on the Dolphin Wiki. No other options were changed.

The game runs perfectly in Desktop Mode, but when I try to launch it in Game Mode, the game does not run. It briefly displays the Steam Deck logo, as is normal when any game is first launching, then it immediately closes and goes back to the Steam UI.

What steps will reproduce the problem?

Adding game, making the noted changes, and attempting to launch the game. I have uninstalled and then reinstalled the emulator as well with the same result.

Is the issue present in the latest development version? For future reference, please also write down the version number of the latest development version.
Unsure, as I am using the Steam Deck version installed through EmuDeck

Is the issue present in the latest stable version?
The "about" screen says version is 5.0-19870

If the issue isn't present in the latest stable version, which is the first broken version? (You can find the first broken version by bisecting. Windows users can use the tool https://forums.dolphin-emu.org/Thread-green-notice-development-thread-unofficial-dolphin-bisection-tool-for-finding-broken-builds and anyone who is building Dolphin on their own can use git bisect.)
