What's the problem? Describe what went wrong.

I recently downloaded a build of Dolphin for my Windows 11 Laptop. I originally installed the latest beta version which is 5.0-20347. Each time I tried to start a game from Dolphin, Dolphin would crash. I then checked to see if I could access the Graphics settings to see if I could change my configuration to resolve but Dolphin crashed when I did that. I Tried installing the development version 5.0-21024 to see if it has been fixed. I still see the issue. I observed that a Graphics option doesn't appear in my settings menu (Attached screenshot) which I remember it being there when I used Dolphin on computers that I have Linux distros installed on.

What steps will reproduce the problem?

In my case:

  1. Install Dolphin
  2. Start Dolphin
  3. Try to start a game or open the graphics menu

Is the issue present in the latest development version? For future reference, please also write down the version number of the latest development version.

Yes - 5.0-21024

Is the issue present in the latest stable version?

Yes - 5.0-20347

If the issue isn't present in the latest stable version, which is the first broken version? (You can find the first broken version by bisecting. Windows users can use the tool https://forums.dolphin-emu.org/Thread-green-notice-development-thread-unofficial-dolphin-bisection-tool-for-finding-broken-builds and anyone who is building Dolphin on their own can use git bisect.)

Not sure

If your issue is a graphical issue, please attach screenshots and record a three frame fifolog of the issue if possible. Screenshots showing what it is supposed to look like from either console or older builds of Dolphin will help too. For more information on how to use the fifoplayer, please check here: https://wiki.dolphin-emu.org/index.php?title=FifoPlayer

[Attach any fifologs if possible, write a description of fifologs and screenshots here to assist people unfamiliar with the game.]

What are your PC specifications? (CPU, GPU, Operating System, more)

CPU - AMD Ryzen 7 5700U with Radeon Graphics, 1801 Mhz, 8 Core(s), 16 Logical Processor(s)
Operating System - Microsoft Windows 11 Home

Is there anything else that can help developers narrow down the issue? (e.g. logs, screenshots,
configuration files, savefiles, savestates)

I would attach the logs but can't find if there is a folder those are exported to. Please let me know if and how I can enable or find this so I can attach for anyone who picks up this ticket. Thanks.

Hi, I would like to provide an update: with the newest version of Dolphin, 5.0-21066, the graphics menu now shows. I can now run games. Thanks for the quick response or possible fix for another issue. I know people volunteer to do this, make the code available for everyone, and do this with their spare time so I really appreciate the quick response and fix (Way better than some of the people on adjacent teams I work with at my job who are paid really good money sigh.) I selected the Vulkan driver and it is working. As an FYI, Dolphin crashed when I selected OpenGL. It does work with Vulkan though so if someone looks into this, you can probably make it a lower priority item as it looks like there is a deep backlog here.

Side note: Let me know if I can help with anything on the infrastructure side. I would help with the emulator but I mostly work with Java and sometimes JavaScript and feel like I would cause many memory leaks that would be hard to track lol.)
