What's the problem? Describe what went wrong.

RelativeMouse is unable to provide quality values for the C-Stick control. In the Dolphin GUI, resolution is very coarse and values are very jittery. In game, control alternates between coarse and jittery, and unresponsive.

What steps will reproduce the problem?

  • Start game, proceed into gameplay.
  • If you don't have a proper analog controller, set up the mouse:
    • Go back to Dolphin window, click 'Controllers' button.
    • Click 'Configure' next to Port 1.
    • For C-Stick Left, right click and enter "`Cursor X-`". Enter the appropriate variations for the other directions.
  • Return to gameplay, notice how as mouse moves away from center of screen, camera motion is smooth and sensitive outside the large dead zone.
  • Return to C-Stick config, and enter "`RelativeMouse X-`/40". Enter the appropriate variations for the other directions. Notice how numeric readouts in the window show fractions, though the numbers are very jittery.
  • Return to game. Looking around now behaves as if C-Stick is binary, i.e. camera either doesn't move, or moves at full speed.
  • Continue gameplay. Very shortly after, mouse will become almost unresponsive, requiring large fast movements to produce small slow movements in game.

Yes. Web site release 2407.

If the issue isn't present in the latest release, which is the first broken version? (You can find the first broken version by bisecting. Windows users can use the tool https://forums.dolphin-emu.org/Thread-green-notice-development-thread-unofficial-dolphin-bisection-tool-for-finding-broken-builds and anyone who is building Dolphin on their own can use git bisect.)

[First broken version number here (if applicable)]
