Description

Game Name?

What's the problem? Describe what went wrong.

The game itself runs fine. However, the intro video (and I assume all videos? but haven't had the chance to check yet) has massive lag after playing for a few seconds. This seems to be semi-random, sometimes the lag kicks in after 1-2 seconds and sometimes it shows up after playing more than half of the video. If you skip the video, even after it started lagging, the game will run fine. In fact, the first time I played the video, it didn't do it at all, but I was trying to show the video to a friend today, and I was unable to have it play correctly to the end even once, even after rebooting my PC and switching from DX12 to Vulkan.

What steps will reproduce the problem?

Play the video in Chapter 1 of Eledees. (you can use my savefile and just go to story mode and select Chapter 1, the video will play). Let it play for a bit.

Is the issue present in the latest development version? For future reference, please also write down the version number of the latest development version.

Yes, 2409-30

Is the issue present in the latest release? For future reference, please also write down the version number of the latest release.

Yes, 2409

If the issue isn't present in the latest release, which is the first broken version? (You can find the first broken version by bisecting. Windows users can use the tool https://forums.dolphin-emu.org/Thread-green-notice-development-thread-unofficial-dolphin-bisection-tool-for-finding-broken-builds and anyone who is building Dolphin on their own can use git bisect.)

Not applicable, since it does happen in the latest release.

If your issue is a graphical issue, please attach screenshots and record a three frame fifolog of the issue if possible. Screenshots showing what it is supposed to look like from either console or older builds of Dolphin will help too. For more information on how to use the fifoplayer, please check here: https://wiki.dolphin-emu.org/index.php?title=FifoPlayer

Here's a video of the issue happening: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2rKflHonxVM
The issue kicks in at 1:10. At 2:39 you can see that I skip the video and the game goes back to running fine after that.

I have attached a fifolog of the issue happening.

What are your PC specifications? (CPU, GPU, Operating System, more)

Ryzen 5800X
RTX 3070 with driver 561.09
32 GB RAM
Windows 11

Is there anything else that can help developers narrow down the issue? (e.g. logs, screenshots,
configuration files, savefiles, savestates)

I have tried both DX12 and Vulkan. I use Hybrid Ubershaders and 3x native res with 16x AF and no AA. I have progressive scan enabled. Let me know if you need to know anything else.

Here's my savefile as a Google Drive link, since it's bigger than 5 MB: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1SLCxcl7jwbxgyrJ-FnyhjtGR2JaK7mY5/view?usp=drivesdk

Are any of the settings in Graphics Settings > Advanced enabled? In particular, texture dumping.

...oh my god. I enabled texture dumping for a project I'm working on, and forgot to disable it.

I'm really sorry :(
