What's the problem? Describe what went wrong.
Error message will pop up alerting the user of missing pointers, should the user continue, you will be missing assets that will render the first stage (possibly other stages) uncompleteable, other missing pointers that i know of are for the Chao Garden, which when loaded locks the camera and doesn't load the gate to the garden leaving the player soft-locked.

Load the game normally, a pop-up will appear alerting you to the missing pointers.
