Description

This issue requests the addition of an piano roll for controller inputs to Dolphin, much like the "TAStudio" mode seen in BizHawk or the Input Editor tool found in libTAS. Currently, making adjustments to earlier sections of a TAS requires loading a savestate and manually redoing all of the necessary inputs. This works fine for major adjustments to player input, but for cases where a user wants to simply move a minute's worth of inputs 1 or 2 frames later, or is trying to optimise the inputs of multiple players at once, this can become incredibly time-consuming, and often demands making additional notes about what inputs were done when to avoid repeatedly optimising the same work. Having the ability to make these kinds of small modifications to inputs without losing everything else in the process would be incredibly useful to TASers, and make Dolphin a more attractive option to users.
