Emulator Issues #1406
closedOGL Plugin not saving settings
0%
Description
What steps will reproduce the problem?
- Open Dolphin
- Configure e.g. a resolution, or AF
- Close configuration, re-open it
In a nutshell the OGL plugin for me isn't configurable anymore. It
overrides all the settings I make to defaults e.g. resolution to 640x480.

ummm I have the same problem and I try editing the "gfx_opengl" text manually and
save the changes but did no solve...

Issue is not present with D3D plugin and must have been introduced in one of the last
couple of builds, as it was working fine for me with a 425x build a day ago.
Indeed editing it manually won't solve the issue properly either. As soon as you
re-open and close the config, it will set default values again.

After some rolling back actions I can confirm the issue started with build 4256.

I have the same problem in all the computers that I have...
But you can use : Right clic in the game>Properties and select a config.
Somebody can fix this?

If your building it your self try cleaning and rebuilding the solution.

Did that several times. May I ask what OS you are running?
I'm on Win7 RC1 x64. Might have something to do with that, you never know.

moogoat: does it happen with both the 32bit and 64bit build?
Updated by moogoat about 15 years ago
Ah, yep, just cleaned it and built the Win32 one. Unfortunately same problem.
If I didn't mention this, only some of the settings aren't saved, e.g. resolution, AF
and AA. Some, mostly checkboxes, are saved. I think the ones that are saved are
cross-compatible with the D3D side of things.

accepted (at least for now)
I'll look into it in a few hours
seems probable that it may have been broken when loading the config was removed from
the constructor

XD How odd for some reason I'm having no problems at all.
