Description

--> I tried it on all my games, modded and unmodded, all responded identically, .rvz and .iso filetypes.
What's the problem? Describe what went wrong.
During regular gameplay in exclusive fullscreen mode, I accidentally hit the print screen button on my keyboard and the emulation froze. The only ways I have found to get out of this are to do ctrl+shift+esc for task manager hit d then hit delete as task manager is not visible during this, or hard reset my pc (I only learned the task manager way today).
What steps will reproduce the problem?
- Enable fullscreen in graphics > general
- Make sure bordered fullscreen is disabled in graphics > advanced tab
- Run any game
- Hit print screen key (or ctrl+alt+del, etc.)
Is the issue present in the latest development version? For future reference, please also write down the version number of the latest development version.
Unknown.
Is the issue present in the latest release? For future reference, please also write down the version number of the latest release.
Yes, version 2603a.
If the issue isn't present in the latest release, which is the first broken version? (You can find the first broken version by bisecting. Windows users can use the tool https://forums.dolphin-emu.org/Thread-green-notice-development-thread-unofficial-dolphin-bisection-tool-for-finding-broken-builds and anyone who is building Dolphin on their own can use git bisect.)

If your issue is a graphical issue, please attach screenshots and record a three frame fifolog of the issue if possible. Screenshots showing what it is supposed to look like from either console or older builds of Dolphin will help too. For more information on how to use the fifoplayer, please check here: https://wiki.dolphin-emu.org/index.php?title=FifoPlayer

Windows 11
Is there anything else that can help developers narrow down the issue? (e.g. logs, screenshots,
configuration files, savefiles, savestates)
I would like to make a suggestion. I think this is more a Windows issue than a Dolphin issue, so I understand fixing it might be a big pain and not really worth doing. However, I think that a decent stopgap would be to set borderless fullscreen to be on by default, like the checkbox in the advanced tab is auto-filled upon a new download or something. Currently it is suggested to leave this off as it might cause some latency issues, but that leaves people open to accidentally crashing their game and losing all progress (like I did today) by default, which seems worse in a lot of cases. This issue is fixed in borderless fullscreen mode. Implementing this suggestion will protect new and uninformed players from accidental crashes while still allowing those who need the performance to be as perfect as it can be to disable borderless knowing that they risk crashing accidentally if they do (a warning needs to be added to the hint text for that).
Thank you for your time and dedication to making and maintaining such an excellent program, I hope you will think about making this small change for the benefit of new and uninformed players.

I agree with making borderless fullscreen default.
