Emulator Issues #1471
closedNJoy 0.3 plugin does not recognize the Yrotation axis
0%
Description
Y Rotation cannot be mapped using NJoy 0.3 plugin...at least not for me.
All other axis appear to be working properly, including X rotation.
This is very standard for the gamepads right stick's vertical axis, but
for some reason NJoy just doesn't recognize it. surprised it hasn't been
an issue already brought up.
Can someone edit the plugin and give support for the Y Rotation? I'm
trying to map it to the GC's C-stick obviously. Using the latest Dolphin
beta and a X360 controller (DirectX XBCD drivers).

whether or not this is added, why not use the x360 pad plugin :P

Only works with Xinput. As I said at the end there, I, like many others are using
DirectX drivers. The XBCD drivers offer alot more than the MS one...with one
drawback, no xinput support. :(

x360 pad plugin gives problems for some users.... for one, me. unless it got fixed
recently, when I push one of the analog sticks completely to one direction it goes
the opposite. nJoy works fine with Xinput and Microsoft drivers though, on a Madcatz
360 controller.

you may want to try the steps in comment 7 of issue 811

It worked!! Thanks so much lpfaint99! So is there any drawbacks to using this one?
Why is this not the default one if it seems to add compatability?

Unfortunately, due to changes with the Plugin_nJoy_SDL.dll, this solution no longer
works. A version pre Sep 20 is needed for the aformention trick to work. So now the
plugin will not allow binding to the Y-rotations no matter what you do. Please
reactivate so a proper solution can be found. Thanks!
