Description

What steps will reproduce the problem?

  1. Start Silent Hill: Shattered Memories with "Safe texture cache" on, skip
    all menus, go into 3D world
  2. Start Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles with "Safe texture cache"
    on, go to the character select menu
  3. Maybe start some other game with "Safe texture cache" on

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I'm not expecting to see this weird black block in the top left corner of
the screen:

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
r4697, r4701, Windows XP SP3

Please provide any additional information below.
There was no weird black blocks in the top left corner of the screen when I
was using r4687.

What plugin do u use??Btw, maybe u need turn off "Disable EFB Copy".

OpenGL plugin.

maybe u need turn off "Disable EFB Copy".
It's off by default. I'm using "Copy EFB to GL texture (hack)".

Please try other build from unknownforce,whitezero. i got same problem before .

Hm, I've tried WhiteZero's and Orleans r4711. Orleans (whose builds I was using
before too) still do have this issue while WhiteZero's do not.
Also Orleans r4711 is not suffering from "Silent Hill: Shattered Memories" letters
bug while WhiteZero's still have it.

This is not a silent hill problem it's a build problem, it happens in a lot of
games... "such as final fantasy christal bearers"

It seems i duplicatted this in issue 1871 but i explained things a lot better and
added some usefull info, so merge this issue into that one plase. :p
