Screenshot of error (when windowed). This was caused by a commit somewhere in rev:
4728-4737. Mayeb rev.4730 or 4728? - the game has major sound issues.

Can someone confirm so we can maybe get this to the "to do" pile? I hate to see
regressions in GC games - epsecially one of this caliber.

It was so close to being perfect also - just needed some audio help, but now it
needs some stability help. ;O)

Since we have this narrowed down to like 2 commits, it shouldn't be too hard to get
this great game playable again, right?

Still broke on rev 4798.

Surprised no one cares about this or it hasn't been fixed. :(

Update: As of 4846, the game simply restarts itself after attempting to enter
gameplay. Does that mean anything? Before it would crash the emulator.

Current (now different) error message on 4870. Sounds like a simple problem and the
offending commit has been identified. Please someone fix this regression. I hate
seeing Gamecube regressions go unaddressed. We need to maintain at least preexisting
compatability. Thanks!

Can someone please take a look at this? Could be super easy to un-break. I've done
everything I can to make this revert/fix as easy as possible.

Also, can someone change it so "Game Issues" show up in "Open Issues". Obviously,
that's a problem and its hiding issues and it only ensures people wasting time and
duplicating issues.

Well, despite no one really caring about this game/regression, I'll still go ahead
and give a status update. Well behavior has changed again - now it goes to a black
screen on the character selection screen (this happened real recently). Can anyone
confirm or look into this issue for this great game - which again was working just
fine a while ago. Thanks.

Looks like that last thing mentioned was caused by AA. Same thing happens in Sonic
All-Star Racing.

Here's hoping someone cares to fix the regression that caused this great Mario game
to be broken.

I just wish someone would at least comment at all at this point...anyone? Mario
Golf...really? :(

500 revs later and still the same behavior. :( Wish someone could just look at a
couple rev. notes and identify the code that could cause the game to crash when
entering gameplay. Sure, easier said then done, but it's possible. Again, this was
caused by a commit somewhere in rev: 4728-4737. Mayeb rev.4730 or 4728.

Please let me know if there's any more info I can provide!

Thanks for tracking that down exactly. Now hopefully, someone can simply revert that
nasty change and get our games running again like they were 5 months ago. Look
forward to see that fix build!!
