Description

What steps will reproduce the problem?

  1. Updating to R4792

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
4 controller plugins should be available, however, only 2 are.
Njoy 0.4 by Falcon4ever, and Dolphin Event Pad are not available.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Dolphin build R4792 X86, Windows 7 32Bit

Please provide any additional information below.
The 4 plugins were available to me in build R4788, but have been absent
since R4792, through to R4797. (R4789-4791 untested)
It is important that Njoy 0.4 be available, it is the only plugin that
correctly supports my Gamecube pad, plugged into a Trio Linker Plus.

Plugin_PadSimpleEvent was removed in r4238, nJoy4 is gone since r3863.

Ah, I guess I still had the DLLs since I was just overwriting all the files each time...

Shame, Njoy doesn't work properly with my pad, but Njoy4 did.

The Plugin API changed in r4789. You could check out the old revision of that plugin
and add the EmuStateChange function as shown in the current plugin to make it work if
you really need it:

Yeah, Njoy regular plugin has some serious issues for me.
Namely, poor mapping of D-pad, fails to remember config on close, and causes massive
slowdown in dolphin.
Njoy 0.4 worked much, much better than this.

Does everyone just hook up a 360 pad or what?

I use a PS2 pad hooked up to an adaptoid-like USB adaptor (for PS and N64 pads).
No problems here, so I dont really know. And I know some others that play with a GC
pad, not sure about the adapter tho.

Well I'm getting an Xbox 360 soon as it is, I'll have to test the controller when it
get it.

my xbox360-controller is working with nJoy. It doesn't rumble, however (my Logitech
Rumblepad 2 does), and the trigger buttons, even if mapped (which only seems to work
when XInput is selected), they don't work ingame.

Huh, it turns out that by disabling "Save by ID", it fixes...just about everything.
No lag, proper D-pad, remembers settings.

Save by ID doesn't always work. It can sometimes cripple nJoy. I dont play with the
'advanced' settings, because defaults work fine with my gamepad
