Description

What steps will reproduce the problem?

  1. Set some custom values for the IR Pointer on the wiimote config page.
  2. Start up a game so you see that your custom values work.
  3. Close dolphin. then open dolphin and start a game directly, without
going in to the wiimote configuration page.
  4. IR pointer values will now be as the were in default.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expect that my custom IR pointer values will auto-load, so i dont have to
go in to the config page to load them (just like the bindings on the
emulated wiimote keys does).

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
r4805 on Windows 7 x64

Please provide any additional information below.
I am using an emulated wiimote (mouse and keyboard).

You can notice this by using for example the Wii Menu or Super Mario Galaxy (which
both use pointer (hand)).

  • Status changed from New to Fixed

IR Pointer settings are a per-game setting, that is, every game has its own setting
(look at IRPointer.ini)... r4853 fixed the Issue that those settings weren't reloaded
on a game boot though... So probably this Issue is fixed...

Thanks.
Please take a look at Issue 2045 as well, as custom IR Pointer settings have stopped
working at the Wii menu (when loaded through Tools/Load Wii Menu).
My guess is that the reload is not implanted when starting using the Menu command.?
Everything else i load through the game list behaves as it should with custom values...
