Skies of Arcadia Legends: underwater, black screen.

Description
What steps will reproduce the problem?
- Run Skies of Arcadia Legends.
- Reach Mount Kazai.
- Go underwater.
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Well, basically the screen just turns back. Only the minimap is visible. If
I turn off the SoA:L hack I can see the breathing bubbles, and those
crystal like thingies in the walls. But other than that, everything's
black.
I think the problem should be the "underwater effect", kind of a wobbly
screen (that is what should be expected).
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
R4771 x86_64, on Windows 7.
Please provide any additional information below.
I tried all configurations possible. I can provide the save state to aid.

Didn't the exact same problem occur in both Chankast and NullDC on the Dreamcast version?

I think I have found the problem, to fix most of the underwater issues:
1.)set Graphics Backend to OpenGL
2.)in GRaphics > Enhancements, check Per-Pixel Lighting to prevent the screen bending
3.)make sure Zfar in the game properties is set to 1.99998
...tell me if this helps any.

You are a Magician Michael thank you i know its an old post but it helped me solve same issue on Dolphin emulator the -z checked and added 1.99998 worked like a charm.
:PS Hope i didn't wake anyone up with the notifications.
