Megaman Network Transmission unable to start New Game.

Description
What steps will reproduce the problem?
- Load Dolphin
- Start Megaman Network Transmission
- Press Start and choose New Game.
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The game would start normally but nothing happens. Just black screen.
Loading saves works like a charm but choosing a new game goes black screen.
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Using r4897 and r4907 on 2 different pcs both running Windows 7 32bit.
Please provide any additional information below.
i went through all issues and found out that the game was playable on
earlier revs (r18 & r49). tried turning of the sound, disable dual core,
opengl/dx9 but still the same result.

Tested myself, and I cannot start a new game either.
The game begins by playing a 1 minute video you cannot skip, but the game does not
appear to freeze.
Aside from not being able to start the game, the game remains entirely playable from
a gamesave, encountering a boss also triggers videos will fail to play, but these can
be skipped.
Can you identify a uh, more recent Revision where a new game could be started?

some test i made with older revs.
r4384 - r4794
New Game loads the intro video just fine.
r4800 - r4964
Choosing New Game results black screen.
only 6 revs more to isolate which rev broke the video support.

test concluded. the rev that broke the video during New Game was r4798. the last
playable rev is r4797 which you can find from mamario's build.
