Description

What steps will reproduce the problem?

  1. Started Mega Man 9 European version WAD
  2. Waited for it to display something
  3. ???
  4. Got profit - in terms of flickery screen

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Flickery screen - every other frame (or something) is black, creating a
nicely epileptic experience.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
4933 SVN, x86 version. Windows XP sp3 x86.

Please provide any additional information below.
I am pretty awesome.

Use "Real XFB" on OpenGL plugin, this isn't supported on DirectX plugin yet though.

XFB doesn't help much. You still get the flicking but just a little less frequently.

I find that this setup is best.
Direct3D Plugin, 640 by 480 resolution set to Widescreen, disable VSync.
This gives the best speeds, least flickering, and only a slight graphical tear. The
game oddly enough runs at double FPS, and higher resolution means slower with more
graphic issues.

By the by, have you ever attempted to view the challenges list, then return to menu?
It actually results in a graphical glitch that you would expect from an actual NES,
how funky is that?

Confirming that this issue still exists in r6381 for both D3D9 and D3D11 plugins. The OGL plugin works fine.

I changed the Real XFB setting in D3D9 and it is working for me now.
