Description

What steps will reproduce the problem?

  1. Download latest SVN and play Wind Waker

I'm using SVN R4970, and back in September, Wind Waker was spot on with the
sound emulation.. now it went to crap. The main issue is some crackle and
pops in addition to missing "instruments". This happens only on SOME
games.. I think Mario Party 4 was yet another one which had the same issue.
I understand I'm using a developer build, but... figured I would report the
issue since there's no Wind Waker related bug report indicating this issue :P.

Its more likely to be looked at if you find the exact revision where this started to
happen.

I can confirm this issue also, using R4973, JIT or JITIL (doesn't matter which) and
x64, running Windows Vista. I don't know when it started to happen though, but it's
VERY obvious in many places. Easiest way to tell is to let it play through the
intro until you get to the main "Zelda" theme - you'll hear sound cutting out in
places and entire notes being missed.

The issue you just stated is not related.
The issues in Wind Waker started happening in r4724, the same rev broke the audio
throttle.

@j4ck.fr0st: I would have to go through 66 different revisions in order to find this
:(. I just got back into Gamecube emulation. Sorry >_<.

I'm glad to know that the issue is at least known as that was my original intention
when I posted this ticket ;P.

Haven't experienced any since recent revisions as of Thanksgiving, actually. I can't speak for others, this is just my experience with Wind Waker. :)
