Description

What steps will reproduce the problem?

  1. Use either video plugin.
  2. Check the "Render to Main" box.
  3. Hit alt+enter to go to fullscreen.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Well, I'd expect it to change my screen resolution and render in that
resolution. Instead, it just stretches the whole thing to fit the desktop
resolution.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Current revisions (r5130) on Windows XP x86

Please provide any additional information below.
Perhaps this is the intended behavior, since all fullscreen options are
disabled for some reason when you check Render to Main. None of that makes
any sense though, just because we'd rather have the video and toolbars and
everything in a single window doesn't mean we never want to go into fullscreen.

Have you changed the Fullscreen resolution?

That's the part that makes no sense. When Render to Main is checked, the fullscreen
resolution box is disabled (grayed out). I wouldn't be surprised if this whole thing
was jpeterson's work.

Fullscreen with render to main checked won't change resolution.
That's not a bug, that's a feature, and we all know that. :P

Rendering to the main window should have no affect on what happens when you switch to
fullscreen. The idea of fullscreen mode is to play without seeing the window or the
desktop. I don't see the point of this "feature" when you just don't want the video
rendering in a separate window.

"That's not a bug, that's a feature"

Okay, I think this is fixed by now, am I wrong? It certainly seems like it is (in
OpenGL anyway).
