What steps will reproduce the problem?

  1. Configure real digital triggers as triggers (xbox gamepad)
  2. Start a game
  3. Triggers are always reported as pressed

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Trigger value should be reported 0 when it is not pressed, instead, when
opening the config dialogue it's resorted being 128 - when the trigger is
pressed it goes up to 255 and back to 0 when released. Same happens with
XInput where values range from -2^15+1 to 2^15-1.
However while this only seems a little oddity that disappears when the
input changes, ingame the triggers are always pressed, no matter how often
pressed and released.
jstest reports correct values.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
r5149, ubuntu 9.10, xpad driver ("Chinese-made Xbox Controller", made by
Sino Lite)
