Cannot emulate Wiimote extensions (nunchuk, classic controller, Guitar Hero

Description
What steps will reproduce the problem?
- Open the Wiimote config
- Set extension from "none" to something else
- Click okay to close window
- Open the Wiimote config again
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Dolphin should honour the config choice I give it, but it does not.
I am unable to select the nunchuk, making it impossible to play twilight
princess, etc.
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Revision 5251, 32Bit, Windows 7, Core 2 Duo 8600, ATI HD4850.

I have this exact problem with r5251.
When I select Nunchuck and click Button Mapping, it hangs for a second or so and
selects it back to None, making me unable to set emulated controls.
I'll try editing options manually.

I tried copy-pasting a Wiimote config file (can be found from /User/Config/ folder)
from a previous revision to the new one and it works.

this happens at r5246 specifically at plugin: plugin_wiimote.dll if you load
mentioned plugin from r5245 into current rev, it will work again.

EVT_CHOICE(IDC_EXTCONNECTED, WiimoteBasicConfigDialog::GeneralSettingsChanged)
