Description

What steps will reproduce the problem?

  1. Load Batman-Dark Tommorow (GBMP7F)

What is the expected output?
Game starts.

What do you see instead?
Black screen, dolphin hangs showing 0 for FPS, VPS and Speed. Emulation
cannot be stopped, Dolphin must be forcibly closed via Task Manager.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
r5286 SSE 4.2 (Spellforce build), Windows 7

Please provide any additional information below.
I'm not sure if any emulation settings are relevant here. My current
settings of note:
-Enabled: Dual Core, Idle Skipping, HLE the IPL, JIT
-Plugins:DirectX/HLE Sound
-Iso Shrunk/Compressed

I also tried the JITIL engine with the same results.

Please test it with a normal build (not Spellforce's Intel Compiler build). If it
still hangs please test it with the Interpreter. Finally, decompress the ISO and test.

Let us know the results.

Retested with 2.0 RC1 using the out of the box settings (i.e. OpenGL plugin this
time), hangs exactly as before. Also tried the interpreter engine and using an
uncompressed version of the iso, which also hang in the same way.

To be more specific on what happens up to the hang...
-Window opens, displaying only black screen
-The speed briefly shoots up to a very high level 22,000%+, though VPS/FPS stay at 0
-Then all indicators drop to 0, and the emulation is hung, and needs to be stopped
via Task Manager
