What steps will reproduce the problem?
- Run dolphin from terminal.
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Version 2.0 on Ubuntu Linux (10.04).
Please provide any additional information below.
Terminal output:

Found the PPA. That version runs. This was the version from the official site.

Maybe Ubuntu 10.04 uses a newer version of wxWidgets, or has some other issue.
However, I can run the version from the "official site" just fine on Ubuntu 9.10.

It was probably because one was 2.8.9 and the other 2.8.10. He fixed it anyways.

I think the reason some people have problems with dolphin on Linux is because they don't really know what they're doing (like me) and they upgraded their PC from Windows Me to Linux (like me again), just so they could run dolphin on their slow PC. (like me AGAIN!)
