I experienced the same problem after defeating Gohma in the Dragon Roost (using build 2.0, XP SP 3, Core 2 Quad @ 2.40GHz, 2gb ram).
However, re-tried it with r6225 and the problem was resolved... While it didn't occur at the exact same instance, have you tried an updated release since then? May solve your problem entirely. :)

Ask on the forums about this, it's a common issue. http://forums.dolphin-emu.org/

well for some reason im not getting my verification email so if its a common issue you must know how to fix it yes?

Actually, when I said "Ask", I meant "search", so go do that. The info you'd get from that would be much better than the info off the top of my aching head.

i've tried searching and i've found similar problems but to no avail nothing seems to be working wether its jusing opengl or disabling fog or whatever.

Fine, fine. The issue has nothing to do with graphics, it's a fault of the DSP emulation - use DSP LLE without "LLE on Thread" checked. (It's gonna run slow, and you're gonna need a DSP dump from a real Wii to use LLE.) I've also once found that disabling the framelimiter (by holding Tab) while stuck at a white/black/gray screen fixes the hang, but that may have been a fluke.

Which one worked, my crazy method or the slow LLE method? I'm curious to see if it wasn't just a fluke.
