What controller are you using? The wiimote? I use an Xbox 360 controller and don't notice significant slowdowns.

I use PS2 controller. And this isn't duplicate of Issue 2862; I talk about general slowdowns in wiimotenew & gcpad plugins when constant rumble is turned on. Not when vibrating.

Did I miss something? Is rumble not the same thing as vibration?

You misunderstood me, I meant, not when rumbling. It has a general slowdown effect when I enable Constant rumble. I meant nothing special, really.

@ aavindraa
Issue 2862 is for real wiimote rumble slowdown.
This issue is for emulated wiimote rumble slowdown.

Is this issue present in the new wiimote plugin after revision 6212?
Updated by white_sapphire about 14 years ago
Well, selecting Constant still slows down games.
Using other options sometimes freezes the game, but it doesn't cause slowdowns.
This applies to GC Controller.
Wii: I can't play any games that use exclusive Wii controllers. It keeps disconnecting me after 5 seconds, and I can't reconnect. Rumble in-game doesn't work either...
(I DL'd the specific build(s) you mentioned to be able to answer your question; I use 6164 normally)

- Status changed from New to Invalid
This is probably an issue with the gamepad driver.
