I think is a problem for all games, not only Mario Strikers
Updated by giaga7 about 14 years ago
Hi, I created the issue 3196, for me in r6193 is impossible to connect more than 1 wiimote in ANY games, now I'm using r6176, it works perfectly with every games!
Updated by pole_1988 about 14 years ago
@6 yes, in my issue 3200 i writed that the problem was introduced by r6177, its impossible play with 2 or more wiimotes in all games, but the biggest problem is that if wiimote1 lost connection, is impossible to reconnect it again.
Updated by giaga7 about 14 years ago
Oh yes I noticed that, smetimes wiimote, the only wiimote connected, lose the connection and it's impossible to reconnect it in any way!!

As danielfr...@hotmail.com say,Still wiimotes doesn't work in r6224, can't connect more than 1 wiimote and often it disconnects itself....

Holy crap, please stop posting unrelated, wrong, and annoying things.

okay, I apologize for my comment. Keep waiting (even when I've been waiting over a month, lol)
Updated by Billiard26 about 14 years ago
@ BRomeroT
It hasn't been over a month since r6177.
If you aren't happy with the current revisions, don't use them.
SVN builds aren't meant to be used as stable releases.
Updated by BRomeroT about 14 years ago
Again, sorry for my comments.
I'll just test newer versions and I will report if fixed.
I Apologize again.

Did anyone try out r6250? I believe they're working again.
Updated by giaga7 about 14 years ago
For me it work at least for play multiplayer, but if I leave wiimotes inactive for about 5 minutes they disconnects and it's impossible to reactivate them...
Updated by james.straub about 14 years ago
I tried with two wiimotes connected.
- Started dolphin
- Checked to see if the new wiimote plugin saw them... it did
- Started Mario Kart Wii
- Saw the 1st and 2nd led on my wiimotes.
- Pressed A on wiimote 1 to continue
- chose 2 player..
- It did not see the second one so I pressed the "+" button on the 1st one as the on screen instructions said.
- The screen the showed the 2nd wiimote!! BUT!!! then BAM: HCI_CMD_INQUIRY dialog box. See issue 3265
- I tried it again (pressing AltF6 in difference ways/times) but it didn't work and I lost connection with the 1st wiimote.
It looks like the code changes helped a little bit but no deal really. Something is just not right. If someone wants to give me an instrumented build I can run that...
It would be really great if someone could write a standalone unit test for the new plugin to really iron out this issue and perhaps get the balance board working too!
Thanks all for your hard work trying to track this down.
Updated by Billiard26 about 14 years ago
@ james.straub
The issue is not within the wiimote plugin, it is within Dolphin.
Updated by james.straub about 14 years ago
@Billiard26
Thanks, wasn't sure.
Is it possible to test multiple wiimotes with the plugin?
I was wondering if it would be possible to have the plugin emulate the 2nd wiimote but allow the real wiimote to control it (hybrid). It wouldn't be as good as a full real wiimote but at least I could use my 2nd wiimote...
BTW: Does anyone have two wiimotes working? I have never seen more than one wiimote working ever.
Updated by danielfrancosantana about 14 years ago
I have 2 real wiimotes and i have tested all settings (emulated, hybrid and, of course reals) nothing works. I have used old wiimote plugin and new wiimote plugin. I'm sure that the failure isn't the pluging it's the emulator that don't enable the wiimotes. I have detailed the case in the issue 3246:
Updated by Billiard26 about 14 years ago
@ james.straub
The problem isn't in the real wiimote code.
Both real and emulated wiimotes have issues.

I've seen four Wii Motes Working at my PC ^^.
The problem is that the Wii Motes would have adresses like the original Wii. The first connected gets "Number 1" but the second and the other would have "NUmber 2 " and so on. I get the Wii motes only working . If I adressed them with Gamii. Programm from Bluesoleil. (Testversion is enough).
See you soon must learn for diplom.
Hope can help little bit.

Dear Giaga@hotmail.it I just report a bug. I don't demand fix it. That is healty.
The error is not only for real Wii Remotes. I do not use any. I use 3 Soccer Pad (you can see them here: http://articulo.mercadolibre.com.mx/MLM-46681584-game-pad-usb-soccer-pad-control-de-juegos-pc-fifa-2009-_JM) and the four player with Keyboard.
Actually I use 6176 compilation where works perfect, because since 6177 I only can conect 2 players.
I'm compleate sure that it is not the "Dolphin Wiimote New" plug in, because I try to download las compilation, I test it, and if not works, I only copy plugins dlls to my old compilation (6176) and works perfect. So the error is into Dolphin.exe or some like that.
Greetings and I know someday, someone -with some time and a lot of knlowedge- will find and fix this bug.
So then I will test any new compilations.
