Description

What steps will reproduce the problem?

  1. Load any game.
  2. Play for a while. Good chance of a crash. Also, press stop on emulator: Guaranteed crash.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I would like to see less crashing, of course.

Dolphin version with the problem? Other Dolphin version without the
problem?

Currently using R6222

32-bit or 64-bit and any other build parameters?
x64 bit on win 7 x64

OS version and versions of tools/libraries used?

Please provide any additional information below.

Are you using the old wiimote plugin still? If so use the new one as that won't crash the emulator.

I noticed that when I stop game emulation with ESC, dolphin crashes 100% sure when "enable openCL" is on. Maybe you should play around with this option as well.

Anybody else having similiar problems with this?

I'm using DX9 plugin, ati radeon 4890 graphics card and catalyst 10.9a.

The crash on stop is caused by the VideoMerge plugin - maybe when it is trying to save the VideoMerge ini file.

Dolphin has always crashed (~90% of the time) on close for me.
I have 64bit win7 (it also did it in 32bit winxp)

Is Dolphin still crashing every time for anyone else? It is now fixed for me.

At least it does not crash every time anymore.
