Description

What steps will reproduce the problem?

  1. Launch a Wii game/Wii menu in a small (800x600) windowed resolution
  2. Move the wii remote out of the screen using your mouse

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

I expect that the Wii remote goes along with the cursor for the Wii centered at the mouse on the computer. But instead, as you move the mouse in different directions, it strays farther off course, it is impossible to reach certain parts of the screen like this. This can be corrected by either running full screen, or running windowed at a higher resolution

Dolphin version with the problem? Other Dolphin version without the
problem?

R6224

32-bit or 64-bit and any other build parameters?

64-Bit

OS version and versions of tools/libraries used?

Windows 7

  • Status changed from New to Won't fix

This problem can be alleviated by using the Wiimote New plugin and adjusting the limits (center, width, height).

The effect you are seeing is a limitation of emulation/virtual machines. You'll see the same effect in other virtual machines (UAE, VBOX, VMWARE). It is not a bug in Dolphin and cannot be fixed.
