Try right clicking the game and ticking "Speed up disc transfer rate" in the properties dialog. Let us know if it fixes the problem.

i tried Darkside chronicles with both 'Speed up disc transfer rate' on and off and it still crashes in r6286 but works fine in r6284. btw i tried the game on the x64 version using windows 7 x64 ultimate.

Did you restart Dolphin after making the "Speed up disc transfer rate" change in the game properties? Sorry, I should have noted it in my previous comment.
