Description

What steps will reproduce the problem?

  1. enabling an AR code
    2.
    3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Should be no error.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

R1292
Please provide any additional information below.
Happens so far on all the games ive tried, REmake, Sonic Adventure 2, zelda
TP. I seem to have fixed the error by enabling Vsync in my video card
settings. Ive played through half an error without the error. Seeing as how
the built in framelimiter also causes other problems, its most likely that.
In addition, in my DSP i have "other audio" turned off, as that seems to
cause slowdowns in gameplay.

This only happens on DC mode, some bug in DC causes random parts of RAM get
overwritten and sometimes the codes in RAM will be modified and the AR will throw
errors because the modified code is invalid now.

omegadox, I know nothing about AR patch system so I'm not going to track that one
just like that :)
If you want me to fix this, provide more info for a reproducible bug. Like which
game, where, AR code file, SC OK log, DC KO log, etc.

AR corruption is not the only bug, the game can throw invalid reads, hangs, and up to
messy looking gfx. Random errors will occur ingame. All you have to do is play a
game for a while (a game you know that works) in DC for a while.

There's a room in Resident Evil, the one right above one of the save rooms (one one
the top right of the mansion's level 1), that always crashes the emu upon entering it
with AR codes on, need to savestate, disable codes, enter, do my stuff, get out,
savestate, enable codes, move on.

let you know, not all the codes are going to be safe, since it modifies the RAM.

Don't see how it's fixed when it works fine on the GC and it makes the emu crash.
