None of the normal bugfix details really apply here. I'd just like to ask for an auto-updating system for Dolphin. The off-the-svn version could have the auto-updater be inactive by default, but there could be a Scons option (updatefileurl?) to specify an XML (or whatever other format you'd like) URL with update information (latest version, date/time of compilation, download URL...), sort of like a Sparkle Appcast XML file. That way, users who build Dolphin themselves would be unaffected, but developers who build regularly could specify a URL and update their XML whenever they built a new version. Also, this opens the door to a bunch of other scons options that could be added (a file path to write an auto-generated .xml to [possibly with release notes grabbed from SVN], a folder to drop the compiled bundle into, and the public URL of that folder). This is all possible (and even easy on OSX with Sparkle), but it'd need some work to get done. I hope to see this implemented on some level sooner or later :D.
