Description

In a Win 7 x64 system using every major revision from R4710 to R6479 Baldur's Gate Dark Alliance (GDEE71) seems to be suffering from major slowdowns specialy in the newer builds when compared to 2.0

The game runs practically perfect on 2.0 (with the exception of the Bink-powered videos) and seems to be almost broken from R4710 onwards notwithstanding different plugins and/or configurations.

I would have tried older builds but my I obtain my builds from dolphin-emulator.com (which seems to be down as I write this) and from Lectrode's website which has as its oldest build the already tried R4710.

I would not put this as a high priority issue but a rather interesting one in the wake of ever higher speeds and compatibility in the latest builds with this rather obscure game.

After trying out R6503 with said patch and I can fully state that in Direct3D9 the game seems to be fully playable. There are some slowdowns here and there (mainly in the intro scene) but I guess future optimizations will take care of this.

Thanks for taking notice of this, only with the patch applied and in Direct3D9 (OpenGL and Direct3D11 appear to not take advantage of this) using the recent revisions Im able to play this game with a good framerate.

Been looking forward to this since this was actually the first game I bought for the Cube and finally I can enjoy it in 720p goodness :D

This FifoBsy patch slows down some games, like New Super Mario Bros Wii, when compared to an unpatched revision.

FifoBusy is not priority now, but this patch fix the VI in a lot of games. ESPECIALLY IN NSMW!!!. When finish with the FIFO. I will research about his. Remember FifoBusy is only the name of the one variable is not related with the FIFO problems.

Is there a mirror for this patch now that the official forum has moved?
