I've tried everything I could think of to get past this, including every possible Core, HLE/LLE audio frontend/option, and video plugin. It's a problem with the core, and even happens when using the interpreter.

Have you tried ticking "Alternate RFI" in the game properties? You'll have to restart Dolphin if you make this change.

I actually figured out R6284 was causing the problem by having "speed up disc drive" enabled by default. I disabled it in R6505, Dolphin kept crashing without an error message, re-enabled it, and it works again. Must've been improperly applied? Anyway, really glad I found the fix. You can close this now.
