Description

What steps will reproduce the problem?

  1. Load Naruto clash of ninja 2
  2. Start story mode
  3. Wait for dialogue

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The text within dialogue menus isn't rendered at all, you can see the
highlighting of where currently is being read though. Also text in menu's
and generic information scenes in between is a bit odd, the last letter of
the line isn't being rendered. Seeing for example:
"START ski", the p is left out.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
r36 on vista 64

Tried the OpenGL plugin?

That was the one it was set it at the time of playing I just noticed, so tried the
dx9 version instead. The dialogue text is missing there, and on top of that the
scenes in between don't display any text rather than just the last letter missing out.

Because this issue is over a year old now (!), I figured it was worth retesting on
newer builds. The problem is still here on R3931.

With the recent changes to the D3D plugin, I've tested this to see if it's still a
problem in D3D. Though the game in general seems to play better, no luck with this
specific issue I'm afraid :(

By using the new software plugin, you can see the text that is otherwise hidden in
D3D or OGL
