Can you check if r6702 fixed this?

Thanks for the good work, but I still cannot pair wiimote on Ubuntu.
Tested on r6703, Ubuntu 32-bit.
Can someone re-check this?

Does it work for you before revision 6693?

Oh, duh you said that. Is it still not working for you with the latest revision?

Happens to me too in Archlinux ~x64, even on latest release (r6722). It's not just that it doesn't pair, seems as if it doesn't even try (there is no pause before starting a game, entering the wiimote config with real wiimote enabled or clicking on refresh on the wiimote config window).

Same problem here with R6723. It seems it is not waiting for the wiimotes to get paired.

CPU: Phenom II 955
Graphics card: GT240 512Mb DDR5
RAM: 2 Gb DDR2 800 Mhz
Linux: Opensuse 11.3 x64

Thank you,

I had the same issue, when i ran "cmake" the result was:

...
bluez NOT found, disabling bluetooth support
...

Then I edited the file /CMakeLists.txt and uncommented the following line:

#check_lib(BLUEZ bluez QUIET)

Now it works again.

I was having the same problem too. I edited the CMakeList.txt as suggested above and cmake was able to correctly detect bluez. It then built correctly with bluetooth support on Fedora 14 32bit. Now my wiimote is working perfectly.

are you able to do that if you used the ppa to install?

Wow. so many comments on this issue.
Thanks for the fix.
I already tested it along with the IR sensor. It's definitely fixed.

  • tested on Ubuntu 10.10 x86 from ppa.

glennricster: Thank you for maintaining the ppa. It's perfect.

Having the same problem with 10.10 64bit.

When it pairs, it seems that no matter what pin option I try it flashes up a random pin then says it's failed. WMgui detects and uses the wiimote perfectly.
