What's the problem?
When playing Wii Sports' Tennis in split-screen the FPSes drop down. In single player I have 60 FPS (Framelit 60) but when i go multiplayer i have 30-35 FPS.

Same problem here, last release I saw without the problem is 6522.

Linux: Opensuse 11.3 x64
CPU: Phenom II 955
RAM: 2GB
GPU: GeForce GT240 with latest drivers

It's not a slowdown problem, it's a framelimit problem (see issue 3788)...try "use fps for limiting" and you'll see that the fps will come back...

That doesn't completely solve the problem. With "Use FPS for limiting" I get 45-50 FPS now, which is much better than before, but not 60 FPS when I play solo.
Any other advice?

To reach the 60 fps on split-screen won't be easy, because the emulator has to do everything almost twice...the only advice that I could give is to try to use an SSE optimized version for you cpu or upgrade your PC...

Ok, I have kinda reproduced this. All of the comments above are correct to a degree. I found that in split screen mode, there is a substantial slowdown (30+%). It is due partly to more stuff being drawn on the screen. On the other hand, the code in r6572 has affected the speed too. Using pre-r6572 code, the slowdown in split screen mode is less at ~13%.

Merging this into the FIFO issue due to that fact.
