Description

What steps will reproduce the problem?
This issue is the Progressive scan option in the "game specific settings" page is not functional anymore (always greyed out). Also, it's not present for GC games which do use this option now.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Functionality should be reenabled and added to GC games as well - since they share this option now, for some reason.

Dolphin version with the problem? Other Dolphin version without the
problem?
N/A

Please provide any additional information below.

  • Some games really need this off (NBA Jam for ex.) while you need it on to get progressive mode for GC games. Instead of toggling the option constantly, this should be reenabled on a per game basis.

Works fine here on OS X 10.6.6 with OpenGL (natch).

  • Status changed from New to Won't fix

The code has intentionally disabled this function. The proper way is to use the Wii Menu Settings to enable progressive scan (which is now working in the wii-network branch)

Ok, so no way to set this per game now then? This option should not be visible in the iso properties. If its never going to function please remove this from the ui and then this issue can properly be closed.

Ok just so I understand it. Skidau, you mentioned using the Wii Menu Settings, are we switching over to a Wii controlled GC emulation or did I misunderstand it entirely?
