Description

What's the problem?
Upon clicking on Dolphin to start it I get an error message saying "The application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b)."

Dolphin version with the problem (as it appears in the title bar, Ex.: "R
4779" or "R 6403M"): r7284 and beyond.

(optional) Dolphin version that does not have the problem: r7283

Operating system and version:
32-bit or 64-bit: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit

Game ID (as it appears in game properties, Ex.: "GZ2P01" or "RSBE01"):
None, the emulator failed to start up.

Build command-line (not on Windows):

Was the ISO a plain dump from disc, compressed and/or scrubbed?

Please provide any additional information below.

You need the Visual C++ 2010 runtimes, because r7284 inplemented OpenMP and these libraries may be not installed on your system.

I have the same problem. I installed Visual C++ 2010 Express and the redistributable package, but Dolphin still won't start.
I run Windows 7 Home Premium x64 and would like to run Dolphin r7435.
Until today I used RC 2.0.
Any Ideas? ._.

Unfortunately, I don't. I installed the required runtimes and it works fine now.

When I started the directX-Webinstaller it said I have the latest version of DirectX installed. I forgot to mention that I use SP1 for Win 7, maybe that's the problem?

  • Status changed from New to Invalid

Make sure that the VCOMP100.DLL file found in the VC2010 redist has been installed on your system.
