Custom Robo black screen DX9

What's the problem?
Custom Robo displays a black screen, audio still plays.
Dolphin version with the problem (as it appears in the title bar, Ex.: "R

The issue seems to be the same as issue 1506. I have tested a bit more after looking at that issue and it only seems to be a problem when using DX9

Try setting up a projection hack in the game's properties (either use the ZTP preset, or set zFar Correction to 0.2 or 0.05), and see if you still get a black screen using the DX9 plugin.
If it works this way, then... could this issue be affecting "Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games" as well? (though I can't confirm rodolfoosvaldobogado's theory as I only have a NVIDIA graphics card...)

I tested with projection hack and the problem still remains, for both the preset and custom sets.
