Description

What steps will reproduce the problem?

  1. Start No More Heroes (+ enable R954 hack to see something)
  2. select the dificulty (any)
  3. next screen the camera zooms out -> game stops responding to any input
    (neither emulated wiimote nor real one)

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
move character or something? ;)

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

framerate of the game is kind of low (only 10-20). seems to be something
broken too.

it's the same here. i tried many of the old builds (1410-1697); no imput response :(
by the way, i remember that in the real wii before you can move, the camera starts to
go more far from the character, enough to see his strange motorcycle. maybe it's an
emulation problem , not an imput issue..

Yep, when it freezes, the camera should pan out and show Travis and the motorcycle.

Update: user "saintseiya" from emuforums, thinks that the frezee problem, is related
to this :
wii no more heroes: invalid frozed codes
sz: 16 skin 0 pos: 3 direct flt nrm: 0 invalid flt: 3757976 vtx
sz: 24 skin 0 pos: 3 direct flt nrm: 0 invalid flt: 460 vtx

by the way , the game is still slow (idle not working); i hope this can help

[2271 IL] Thanks to chrrox from emuforums , we can finally avoid the frezee
problem!!!! the audio is perfect, same as the graphics!
The only problem is that the idleskip isn't working , so the game has low fps
(15-18). Please, can someone help making the idleskip working for this game??? thank
you forever dolphin team!! xD

Update: i tried the r1343 speedhack , for the idleskip problem of Fire emblem , but
it's not working :(
can someone make something like that for this game? :/

Seems like JITIL, according to you, has input. What about regular JIT?

So idle skipping is the current problem?

the input has never been the problem, the real problem was a frezee right after the
"new game" screen , but with a save file we can pass it.
the only issue is the not working idleskip , i wonder if someone can make a speedhack
,just like for Fire emblem, since it had the same idleskip problem :)

I know that speedhack isn't an optimization , but seems like no one is interested in
making the idle skipping working, for those games that use different idle skipping
methods (i guess it's a pain :D ) this will help performance (30-50%) in many
cases/games ,it's for sure . Do you think this can be fixed ? or we need some
speedhack? anyway, thanks for trying to help in this = )
