What's the problem?
I can't load save states from Madworld. The emulator just freezes and nothing happens.

Was the ISO a plain dump from disc, compressed and/or scrubbed? slightly compressed

Rarely, when the save states work, a "controller disconnected" warning comes out.

I misunderstood the Dolphin Version. What I meant was that I'm using r7551 and the issue still persists.
