Description
What's the problem?
Real Wiimote disconnects a few seconds after game starts
Dolphin version with the problem (as it appears in the title bar, Ex.: "R
4779" or "R 6403M"):
Every revs since 7271 (the following rev are broken, so the problem lies in 727X revs ior 278X
(optional) Dolphin version that does not have the problem:
Last working one found at Mamarios 7271
Operating system and version:
32-bit or 64-bit:
Windows 7 64bits same problem with Windows XP 32 bits
Game ID (as it appears in game properties, Ex.: "GZ2P01" or "RSBE01"):
Build command-line (not on Windows):
Was the ISO a plain dump from disc, compressed and/or scrubbed?
Please provide any additional information below.
-Using Real Wiimote and a usb sensorbar
-Using Bluesoleil Bluetooth stack
Well I recently tested the long awaited rev 7559 from Skidau. Tried it, ticking the DisableWiimoteSpeaker in Gameini. But no luck, I still have the same problem. Wiimote conected and paired, recognized by dolphin (showing 1 wiimote paired and vibrating). But when I launch a Wii game (I own RE4 and Link Crossbow Training) I can see Wiimote connected in the main window, but nothing is responding (cant press A, move cursor...).
In LCT it happens the Wiimote respond a few seconds (time to press A and skip the safety screen, but when it comes to the main menu, it stops responding, and dolphin main window shows No wiimote connected)
In Resident Evil 4, it's not responding at all, even at safety screen, but dolphin main window still display "Wiimote connected"
No related Console or Log entries
Got this problem on every rev since 7271 (the last working one i found at mamarios). With 7271 and earlier everything is fine, so its not wiimote or bluetooth related...
Im using x64 revs on Win7, with a decent config. Ticking the option to disable wiimote speaker doesn't solve the problem in recent revs.

What are your specs on your PC?
Bluesoleil program that you have is the fullversion?
Remember and download Dolphin latest version here:

It may be something wrong with the Bluesoleil program that jumps out of themselves.
Have you latest version of Bluesoleil?
BlueSoleil 8.0.356.0 is latest so far¶

Well I'll try the latest Bluesoleil version, but I'd rather try another bluetooth dongle since that Bluesoleil stuff is very expensive.
PD: Wespipe, sorry, I'd read the rules, but don't know where. I deleted the screenshots.

OK! What are your specs on your PC nicolas?

I don't think this is PC related since it works well on revs =<7271.But if its really necessary, Core2Duo E6750, 3Go RAM, Geforce 8600, a shit load of HDD, Gigabyte GA P35 DS3R, the whole thing on Windows 7 X64.
For the same reason this issue is different from issue 4185 too (eg IT WORK like a charm with rev 7271
Same PC, same operating system, same controller, same bluetooth stack and dongle, BUT different revs.

Hi same problem again and again.
It seems that the problem is still there.
For Mario Kart everything works fine for up to 4 Players never disconnected wiimotes.
But in Just Dance 2 and DKC still same problem as before.
Not PC related I think so, too. Windows 7 x64
Please create a Box to unmark Speakersettings.(It is not a problem to realize this)
See you soon

If you disable the speaker in Just Dance 2 game properties, the Wiimote works perfectly.

This should be fixed by r7597.
Right click the game in the game list, uncheck "Accurate VBeam emulation" and check "Disable Wiimote Speaker". The games should work with this configuration. Let us know if that fixes this issue.

I'm pretty sure this rev solves a lot of Wiimote desync related problems. But it doesn't solve this one.
I'm not sure to be well understood, unlike other issues discussed here, my Wiimote doesn't work on ANY Wii game since rev 7271. It doesn't seem to be a desync problem, with some games Wiimote connected will still be displayed by MainWindow but no buttons or movement responds (this is how it happens in RE4) in LCT Wiimote is connected at startup and just the time to press A and skip safety screen and it disconnects.
I obviously tried the latest rev 7598 with Skidau recommended settings, but still no luck.

To Skid, if you give me some tips, I'd be pleased to do some testing for you regarding this issue

nicolas, I've sent you an e-mail to set up some testing.

Nicolas: how exactly are you switching between versions of Dolphin? On the forums, there is some talk that maybe the config of Dolphin changed.
I suggest: either delete your config files or extract to a new directory.
Also 1) are you using ANY other kind of bluetooth software on the PC. With virgin Winodows 7 x64 system, not running GlovePie or any other kind of bluetooth app on your system, 2) Any chance you have other bluetooth devices, such as a real Wii console that are interfering.
I know you are saying old releases work... but clearly for many of us, the new releases are working with wiiremote. So some system or environmental difference seems in play.
The Wii remote is working for me on startup of recent releases...

Thank you stephen for your sugestions. It's not dolphin config or OS related. I did some testing with a special build (skidau provided this special build), and we managed to run my Wiimote but at the cost of a serious FPS dropdown! I think Skidau is working on it if something can be done.

Good you are making progress. I'm all about wiimotes, to me it is a lot of what makes a wii a Wii ;)
