so... the problem is not really about limiting fps ?

Just enable other audio this way the framerate is limited. I guess the real way to
fix this, is maybe to have a way to set Dolphin's sound volume or even disable sound
output from dolphin without interfering with how games works (some games seem to
retrieve events from sound output)

Could be useful and not that hard to do :D

if you can't reach fullspeed in a game, then disabling other audio won't help at all.
It will only disable the 'framelimiter', so it will speed up the game only if you're
running it well enough to full speed, and so will have the same effect as pressing
tab (which disable throttle too)

at least that's how it does in my games heh..

i didn't know about tab, but i still don't understand..
for example in resident evil remake(in main hall) i have 8-9 fps, but if i hold tab
button fps become 17-19?!

hmmm.. i think that's related to idle skkipping :/
Try to disable idle skipping to see if that helps, because sometimes Idle Skipping
breaks the 'framelimiter' and makes it think that it's running at good speed although
it's slower

You are right it is because of idle skipping. But without it movies and sometime
gameplay run too fast.
So it is some kind of bug, witch need to be fixed. Good luck!
