Maybe this could be related to other issues I don't know and I didn't find any issues, and fixing this could fix other issues too!:)

This game ussually works fine but with graphics bugs, one of them is you can see with dx9 through his mouth and with opengl the map have some lines.

Resident Evil code Veronica X (GCDE08) has a very similar problem (no shadows)

Shadows are important as there is a scene in the game with a projector screen. You are attacked by ghosts who are invisible. I think their shadow should appear on the projector screen, as it makes it difficult to fight the ghosts.

Apparently it doesn't seem to be a issue with the video plugin's since said issue also happens using the software plugin. (Dolphin 3.0-735)
Is it possible that this is related to some JIT misfunction or something like that.
Also I'll play through the game until i get to the room the user above me said is unplayable.
I'm sorry for bumping this, but i didn't want to create another issue :P

Sorry for bumping this, but is there any possible fix soon?
I really don't want to use my old (veery old!) TV just for playing this awesome game.
I wouldn't mind if this wasn't such a dark game at all, but the shadows are very important (I'm sure everyone else will agree) and you even need them in regular gameplay to 'see' some ghosts (see above).
Thanks

There is no real fix; I don't even think it's known what's wrong! The best thing you can do is try the variety of branches to see if there is any change in behavior throughout the game, and report it on here. Apologies that I don't have a better answer for you, but, I feel the same way about this glaring issue in a game which would look absolutely stunning on Dolphin.

I beat the part with the movie projector, it was difficult but not impossible
Would love to see a fix

Thanks, already tried that, wouldn't have asked otherwise. It didn't change anything, except sometimes everything was a bit pixelated, but disabling EFB helped fixing that I think. Whatever I did, no shadows or something like that.
Anyway, thanks for reply. Still hoping for a fix.

Shadow shows up on the real hardware when running the fifo log Billiard posted there. Definitely some issue with out GPU emulation.
